Jeremiah 31:36-38

New American Standard Bible

³⁶ “^(A)If ^[a]this fixed order departs
From Me,” declares the Lord,
“Then the descendants of Israel also will ^(B)cease
To be a nation before Me ^[b]forever.”
³⁷ This is what the Lord says:
“^(C)If the heavens above can be measured
And the foundations of the earth searched out below,
Then I will also ^(D)reject all the descendants of Israel
For everything that they have done,” declares the Lord.
